Toyota has redesigned the Corolla compact sedan for the 2020 model year on the Toyota New Global Architecture. The automaker is offering three engines: a 1.8-liter on the L, LE and XLE trims, a new 2.0-liter dynamic-force direct-injection inline-four on the XSE and SE trims and a hybrid variant, which uses a hybrid system adapted from the Prius.
