After four decades of service to automotive retailers, Hugh Abernethy is retiring from Cox Automotive. His career includes leadership roles in sales, operations, and product management at ADP Dealer Services (now CDK), Dealertrack, and Cox Automotive. Hugh has been passionate about building organizations that address the unique needs of large, multi-franchise dealer groups. He was pivotal in establishing ADP’s National Accounts Group, Dealertrack’s Strategic Accounts and Aftermarket Network organization, and Cox Automotive’s Retail Strategic Accounts team. Hugh describes tackling the challenges faced by large retailers as a highly rewarding endeavor. As he retires…..he leaves with gratitude.
