Trump threatens additional tariffs on China, terminates talks

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump said on April 7 he will impose an additional 50 percent duty on U.S. imports from China on Wednesday if the world’s No. 2 economy did not withdraw the 34 percent tariffs it had imposed on U.S. products last week.
