China battery maker Svolt pulls plug on Europe operations

Svolt Energy Technology Co., Great Wall Motor Co.’s former battery unit, has decided to halt construction of plants in Germany and shut down other operations in Europe, according to Yicai, a Shanghai-based business news website.
