Acura Integra Type S slated for summer 2023 debut

Acura’s Type S performance line debuted in North America with the 2001 3.2CL Type S. Key models:
2001-03 3.2CL Type S: 3.2-liter V-6 engine with 260 hp, upgraded from standard CL coupe’s 225-hp, 5-speed automatic transmission with manual shift function. 6-speed manual gearbox is offered the last model year.
2002-03 3.2TL Type S: Debuts a year after coupe featuring the same performance-tuned 3.2-liter engine, 5-speed automatic transmission with manual shift function.
2002-06 RSX Type S: New 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine with 200 hp, up from standard RSX’s 160 hp, paired to 6-speed manual transmission. 2005 RSX Type S sees power boosted to 210 hp and a larger rear wing. 
2007-08 TL Type S: Third-generation TL sedan rejoins Type S lineup featuring a 3.5-liter V-6 with 286 hp, upgraded from standard TL’s 3.2-liter V-6 with 258 hp.
2021 TLX Type S: Type S returns with 355 hp and 354 pound-feet of torque, 10-speed automatic transmission, Type S-first all-wheel drive, sport-tuned suspension and Brembo front brakes. 
2022 MDX Type S: First high-performance Acura crossover is powered by a turbo V-6 with 355 hp.

Acura is officially readying a high-performance Integra Type S to join its lineup next summer for the 2024 model year.
