BMW sees 2025 as a crucial year, largely because of the debut of its Neue Klasse family of full-electric vehicles. The vehicles will be underpinned by a new architecture and the latest software, which is why CEO Oliver Zipse says they will provide an example of what “mobility will look like for the next decade.” The CEO also shared his views on tariffs and explained why BMW thinks tougher EU CO2 targets for 2025 should remain in place in an on-stage discussion on Nov. 7 with Automobilwoche Publisher and Editor Burkhard Riering at the Automotive News Europe sister publication’s annual conference, held this year in Berlin.
