Toyota unveils GM-built Cavalier in Japan

Eiji Toyoda, honorary chairman of Toyota Motor Corp., introduces the Toyota Cavalier made by General Motors Corp. on Oct. 16, 1995, in Tokyo. The Cavalier was the first right-hand-drive GM car made in North America to be sold in Japan under the Toyota brand, starting in Jan. 1996.
