Kia released a Super Bowl ad teaser on YouTube on Thursday for its 2018 Kia Stinger sport sedan, starring Brazilian racing icon Emerson Fittipaldi and a mystery driver with two-toned nail polish.
In the 15-second clip, two Stingers are shown on a deserted racetrack, with Fittipaldi leaning against one.
In the adjacent Stinger, the mystery celebrity starts the engine, and Fittipaldi gives the driver a nod of confirmation that the adrenaline-filled race is about to ensue. At least that's what Fittipaldi's black-and-red racing get-up insinuates.
There appear to be no clues alluding to the identity of the second driver, but the automaker said the ad will star "two eternally youthful legends who have logged seat time in some of the most powerful and exotic cars in the world."
The 60-second ad is scheduled to air during the third quarter of the Super Bowl on Feb. 4. This is the automaker's ninth consecutive year advertising in the Super Bowl.
