Honda EV hops back in time

Honda made waves last week at the Frankfurt auto show by unveiling an electric car that at first glance appears to be a 1970s Volkswagen Rabbit. The Urban EV Concept, nearly 4 inches shorter than the Honda Fit and slated to go on sale in Europe in 2019, is a "neo-retro hatch of awesomeness," CNet declared. Among the four-seater's features is a programmable message board in place of the grille, perhaps to alert the driver ahead that it is still, in fact, the 21st century.
