216 mph makes GT Ford's fastest-ever production car

The Ford GT supercar's engine generates 647 hp and 550 pounds-feet of torque. The car's power-to-weight ratio is 4.72 pounds per horsepower, between its two main competitors, the McLaren 675LT and Ferrari 488, Ford says.

The full spec sheet released by Ford for its GT supercar shows a top speed of 216 mph thanks to 647 hp at 6,250 rpm and 550 pounds-feet of torque at 5,900 rpm.
