Fabre confident about the market and Infiniti

AUTOMOTIVE NEWS: Do U.S. dealers have the company's ear when it comes to asking for new products? JOHN FABRE: The U.S. market represents 70 percent of Infiniti sales worldwide. They're making a big effort to grow in other markets. But this is still where the majority of the volume comes from and the majority of their profits. The U.S. market is going to continue to deliver the lion's share of Infiniti's business, even as the brand expands.

The U.S. economy is strong, the market for new cars and trucks is robust and the demand for premium-brand products continues to grow. All of that sets the scene for Infiniti to improve its position in the United States, says John Fabre, chairman of the Infiniti National Dealer Advisory Board.
