Mr. Cub made history in the car business, too

Here's a largely forgotten fact about Chicago Cubs legend Ernie Banks, who died Jan. 23 at 83: He was a Ford dealer from 1967-71. In fact, Banks and partner Bob Nelson were the first African-Americans to obtain a Ford franchise.
