After more than a decade of rumors, a big, rear-wheel-drive Cadillac sedan looks to be a go.
This heavily covered car was spotted during testing near the General Motors proving grounds in suburban Detroit.
The sedan, the first vehicle to be built on GM's new rwd platform code-named Omega, is expected to go on sale in mid- to late 2015 as a 2016 model.
The potential challenger to the Mercedes-Benz S class, called the LTS for now, features a longer dash-to-axle and a more upright front end than Cadillac's recent entries.
