General Motors hopes to dodge the weak dollar that inflated the price of the current Saturn Astra compact with the next-generation model, shown during testing. The current Astra, a rebadged Opel, is assembled in Belgium. The 2011 Saturn Astra will come from San Luis Potosi, Mexico. The Astra, which will be re-engineered and restyled, is being developed on GM's next-generation global Delta vehicle architecture.
