When a car shopper turns into a car owner, dealers hope they immediately become a service customer, too. That’s generally true of most owners while their car is under warranty, but as the latest CDK Service Shopper study shows, nearly half, 46%, of all car owners shopping for service won’t consider a dealership. That figure is up dramatically from last year’s figure of 37%.
