Andy Hinrichs, CEO and co-founder of AutoGravity, has left the company to pursue other opportunities, AutoGravity said Tuesday. The former Daimler Financial Services executive spearheaded the company as its platform gained 2 million users and more than two dozen lenders since its 2015 launch.
Hinrichs, 47, will be replaced by Alex Mallmann, former president and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Auto Finance China, effective immediately. Mallmann, 47, was also named president and has joined the board of directors, according to a company statement.
Before launching AutoGravity, Hinrichs was CFO for Daimler Financial Services in Africa and Asia-Pacific. Last year, he was an Automotive News All Star.
