GM, Ford use 'veiled threat' of imports to gain leverage with UAW

The start of production for the 2011 Fiesta subcompact in 2010 at Ford's Cuautitlan Izcalli, Mexico, factory. Ford is moving C-Max and Focus output out of the U.S. and may build the small cars in Mexico, sources say, putting pressure on the UAW to preserve jobs in the U.S.
