GM adding 3rd shift to Chevy Colorado, GMC Canyon plant in Missouri

GM plans to produce 100,000 to 130,000 GMC Canyon and Chevrolet Colorado pickups in 2015, according to a person with knowledge of the plans. Output was launched last week. (GM)

DETROIT -- General Motors will add a third production shift at its Wentzville, Mo., assembly plant, where its new midsize pickups and commercial vans are made.
