Tesla mulls 'giga-factory' for EV batteries, Musk says

LOS ANGELES -- Tesla Motors Inc. is mulling plans to create a "giga-factory" to manufacture electric vehicle battery packs for the automaker's consumption, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said.
