Sept. truck output up 24%

Robust truck output pushed North American car and truck production in September up 14 percent from the year-earlier month to an estimated 1,437,130 units. It was the 26th month in a row that production surpassed 1 million and the sixth time in 2013 that monthly production topped 1.4 million.
